Tascam dr-22wl recording at the edge of lake ontario in toronto's tommy thompson park. Note, while a deadcat was used on the mics, some hi-passing may be required to cut out a bit of wind-sub.
I recorded this sound back in 2002. A vent at the movie theater i worked was making this sound in the back of one of the theaters. So i recorded it between shows.
Exterior silence, recorded in white sands desert, new mexico, no wind, no airplane, no cars, just a small air hiss. The recording has been done using schoeps ms along with dat decoded in st at 48-16.
Burst of air next to a mic. It was originally intended for a bullet hitting a ballistic vest, but it obviously can work for some kind of a pressure releasing sound too.
I recently erased a cassette tape with my panasonic cassette dictation machine that previously had audio on it, i noticed that it had a white noise after doing so, i figured i would upload it.
